AJA Advances HDR, 4K/UltraHD and IP workflows at IBC 2019
Continuing its commitment to help broadcast, streaming, post, and proAV professionals create and deliver content that elevates the audience experience while streamlining their workflows, AJA is showcasing a range of new and production proven tools at IBC 2019, stand 7.C25. Several of the new technologies being shown simplify the creation and delivery of HDR and 8K, UltraHD, HD, and SD content, and help professionals take advantage of the move to IP and other emerging technologies like 12G-SDI. The company has also announced a number of upcoming software and firmware updates for some of its most popular products.
In addition to highlighting newly announced tools, AJA is also demonstrating recently released products like the Ki Pro Go and KUMO 3232-12G. Ki Pro GO is AJA’s portable multi-channel H.264 recorder offering up to 4-channels of simultaneous HD and SD recording to off the shelf USB drives with redundant recording capabilities. KUMO 3232-12G is a compact router featuring 32x 12G-SDI inputs and 32x 12G-SDI outputs in a portable 2RU profile for flexible and cost-efficient 12G-SDI routing. Designed for use in broadcast, production, and ProAV environments, it supports large format resolutions, high frame rates, and deep color formats, while reducing cable runs when transporting 4K/UltraHD over SDI.
