Clear-Com releases its new V-Series Iris Panels with AES67 AoIP

The V-Series Iris Panels, one of the latest products from Clear-Com, are now shipping. Intended for Eclipse HX users, they feature low latency Audio-over-IP using AES67. These panels are designed for productions that have converted to IP-based communications for audio/video distribution.

Iris Panels can manage communications over three simultaneous AES67-compliant uncompressed audio IP streams with, according to the company, “significantly reduced latency”. It provides characteristics such as a user-configurable color OLED display, which provides information like user label, tally or port information. It also has an EHX Supervisor Mode that allows real time control over label updates and monitoring. A high-density E-IPA card can deploy up to 64 Iris panels.

The V-Series iris panels are optimized for use with EOX 11.0 software to manage all the aforementioned features. The system has Core IP and 4-wire connections to ensure its compatibility with previous Eclipse frames (EXH 10.0 or earlier).
