Globecast partners with SnifferCat to offer dynamic ad insertion
Globecast’s OTT Platforms “will maximize its revenues”, according to the press release, thanks to the recent partnership with SnifferCat, whose solutions allows dynamic ad insertions.
SnifferCat technology provides automated, frame accurate, cue point detection for SCTE-35 tag inserts, offering dynamic ad insertion or overlay. In addition, it can identify breaks in OTT content regardless of its format or if it is VOD or live content, which permits the AI to choose the correct tag for each distribution platform. The tool can be programed with the SnifferCat’s Scheduler.

SnifferCat also allows users to control viewership, inventory and revenues of their OTTs. The zero software footprint and scalable architecture of the platform allows users to connect to content and centralize all outbound streams and data. The company also remarks that “automated cue point detection and tagging increases opportunities to drive revenues while multi-source software allows for vendor rationalization across CMS, ad servers and CDNs”.
