Mobile Viewpoint introduces Agile AirLink 4CK, “the world’s first 4K and multicamera-enable mobile encoder”

Agile AirLink 4CK is the latest solution of Mobile Viewpoint. According to the company, it is the “world’s first 4K and multicamera-enable mobile encoder” and “the broadcast equivalent of a modern outside broadcast (OB) van”.

It is able to deliver video content in UHD quality, supporting up to four live video streams and delivering the 4K streams through its cellular mobile channel bonding technology. The bandwidth of each one of the four synchronized SDI inputs for live streaming can be controlled individually. It also has return vision and intercom, and is fully compatible with H.265 and H.264 encoding.

Mobile Viewpoint highlights its “ultra-thin design”. It can be placed on the back of a camera or in a backpack, with makes it suitable to multi-camera remote production from a motorcycle or car.
