The new HDMI/RS232 Extender Kit, HDBT, 4K/60 from MuxLab delivers high quality video in the HDMI format with audio using an industry-standard CAT-5e/6 cable. This new Kit allows integrators to implement today’s 4K equipment on yesterday’s in-conduit cabling.

 

The Extender Kit connects an AV source to its display up to 40m (131ft.) in distance at 4K@60Hz using one CAT5e/6 cable, or up to 70m (230ft.) at 1080p. RS-232 and bi-directional IR travel along the same cable allowing for remote control of the source equipment and displays.

 

This Kit features visually lossless light compression at 4K/60 (4:4:4) with support for HDR, making it suitable for the remote viewing of DVDs, Blu-rays and laptops on projectors, displays and TVs. It also delivers PoC so the receiver unit is free from power constraints, supports all digital audio modes and utilizes a small footprint to deliver high quality 4K content.
