At 2019 NAB Show, MX1 has announced its partnership with Minerva Networks, an online video platform (OVP) provider. The integration of Minerva market platform with the MX1 content management services and global delivery infrastructure will help its clients (broadcasters, media companies, mobile service providers, ISPs or pay TV operators) to launch flexible and scalable OTT services “quickly and cost effectively”, according to the press release.
Some of the benefits of Minerva OVP are the support of video services such as video-on-demand, live TV, personal video recording, catch-up TV, pause of live TV and restart TV; or its set of “relevant” analytics data. MX1 provides the management of the OTT content workflow and service delivery, including operations and 24/7 monitoring.
Mauro Bonomi, CEO of Minerva Networks, talks about the deal: “In partnership with MX1, we are redefining the way large-scale OTT video services can be efficiently created, launched, and operated.
