Red Bee media develops the Ekstraklasa polish football league streaming platform

Red Bee Media has announced an agreement with Ekstraklasa, the polish football league to develop its streaming platform. The fans will enjoy this new solution during the end of this season, and it will be fully operative for the 2021/22 season.

More than 30 foreign and polish companies submitted their projects for the development of this platform. Red Bee, owned by Ericsson, won the contract. According to the company statement, Ekstraklasa.tv will count with greater interactivity and personalization, further improvement of the user experience, and will implement an advertising model.

The platform will be available in Polish via www and mobile apps on iOS and Android. Furthermore, it will also to be available on multiple Smart TV platforms, starting with LG, Apple, Android and eventually Samsung.

The Ekstraklasa.tv website was launched on 2019. It has 200 thousand registers and provides access to the polish football matches to the fans abroad, except for countries covered by exclusive broadcasting licenses. Apart from this, the website offers multiple extra video content related with the competition.
