Renewed Vision joins forces with Formetco Sports at University of Kentucky

New Led Screen of Formetco Sports used in the University of Kentucky

Formetco Sports has trusted in Renewed Vision’s software for the new 60×30-foot LED video scoreboard of the Memorial Coliseum, home of the Kentucky Wildcasts NCAA women’s basketball team. This massive dual-LED Display will screen scores, player statistics, live video and instant replays through Renewed Vision’s ProPresenter Scoreboard and PVP3 multi-screen media server software. The set up is completed with a 3.5×100-foot ribbon board.

Renewed Vision’s solution, based in NDI IP video networking to deliver video and data signals, also includes Stat Crew, a statistics and scoring app from CBS. On another note, PVP3 technology is able to arrange each display into different areas to distribute content as advertising, game stats and crowds prompts along with different video effects and graphical transitions. Furthermore, it is compatible with UHD and HDR screens.

According to David Porter, Multimedia Producer with Formetco Sports, Scoreboard and PVP3 are really intuitive for non-technical operators. “Their approach and support for leading pro video standards enables seamless interoperability with the University of Kentucky’s existing video control room infrastructure, while leveraging off-the-shelf Mac computers to cost-effectively host and operate the Scoreboard and PVP3 software”, said Porter.
