Ross Video launches the VR100

Ross Video has launched the VR100, a new Pan/Tilt head that is suitable for both virtual set and augmented reality applications. Based on the original VR1 design, the VR100’s encoding technology makes it ideal for VS/AR applications, where virtual objects must precisely match and track the real-world images, according to Ross Video.

More generally, the head offers an increase in payload to 20 kg (44 lbs)* while eliminating the need for the extra support arm required on the VR1. This allows the VR100 to accommodate small and medium-sized teleprompters. The VR100 will be introduced at the same price point as the VR1 head.

Ross Video will be demonstrating the new VR100 head at BVE 2017 as part of its integrated live production workflow presentation on stand M14. For more information: www.rossvideo.com/robotics.
