SGO to Showcase Mistika 8.7 Post-Production Capabilities at 2016 NAB Show Shanghai

SGO will expose new Mistika 8.7

SGO will showcase the new Mistika 8.7 post-production digital intermediate (DI) workflow suite at the upcoming 2016 NAB Show Shanghai, for the first time. Located on Booth#N1G27 in Hall N1at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre in Shanghai, China the show runs from December 7-9, 2016.

 

SGO will demonstrate an array of new post-production tools to service high-end finishing projects created for Ultra High Definition (UHD), High Dynamic Range (HDR) and Virtual Reality (VR).

SGO will show Mistika’s 4K capabilities, offering in-depth demonstrations throughout the conference to show attendees its practical post-production workflows and how the system offers an interactive solution which operators can use at all levels, including real-time playback and output in 4K.

 

Mistika 8.7 includes the new Immersive Reality toolsets that integrates Mistika’s existing Stereo 3D features to distort and dynamically adapt images to the spherical VR space allowing for real-time manipulation and playback of VFX, text and color grading. The latest version of Mistika also offers VR streaming capabilities directly to tablets, phones and other network-enabled devices.

 

Also, Mistika 8.7 offers several color selection keyers, such as the 3D keyer, RGB keyer, improved HSL keyer, unique 4th ball highlight recovery tool, HDR mode, and expanded HDR range sliders. These enable users to work well outside of the standard 0 – 100% video range.
