LiveU’s live streaming technology will be the tool used to broadcast the TNW TV studio at the two-day festival TNW2019 (The Next Web – Amsterdam – May 9/10).
The program will include a mix of live interviews with keynote speakers in the studio, live coverage of the keynote presentations and ad-hoc conversation with festival visitors. Each one of the reporters will use the LiveU Solo wireless video encoder around the conferences. Stream My Event will manage the broadcast in its studio control room in The Netherlands deploying LiveU’s wireless at-home production solution.
This is how Derk van Lomwell, The Next Web’s Sr. Partnership Manager explains how LiveU’s technology has been used: “We planned to go bigger and better for this year’s TNW Conference and that’s exactly what we’re doing. TNW TV powered by LiveU will cover all the highlights and fun insights of the event for those who are not able to attend IRL. It’s the first time we’re building a full 8-hour live show and we couldn’t have done it without the technical expertise of our partners LiveU and Stream My Event. Hats off to them.”
“We’re excited to partnering with The Next Web for the third year in a row, one of Europe’s most innovative and creative technology festivals. This year, we’re bringing the festival vibe even closer to the audience at home, interviewing the impressive line-up of speakers in the live studio and hearing first-hand from the festival visitors wherever they happen to be, even high up above the ground!” adds Ronen Artman, VP of Marketing at LiveU.
