TVU has confirmed its presence at IBC 2019, the renowned broadcast event that will be take place on September 13-17 at Amsterdam’s RAI.
The brand will exhibit its new TVU One 4K, which includes a newly developed H.265 hardware encoding chip and offers broadcast quality 4K, 10-bit true 60 fps HDR video at as low as 3mbps with a 0.5 seconds latency. Another 4K product that will be shown is the TVU G-Link 4K, an IP based rack-mount point-to-point contribution encoder with IS+ technology that can transmit a 4K P60 4:2:2 HDR video signal over a normal Internet connection at as high as 50mbps.
To meet the broadcasters’ remote mobile production needs, TVU will offer its Remote Production System (RPS), which enables synchronized multi-camera remote production and can be deployed in combination with the renowned TVU Nano transmitter. In terms of the media supply chain, the solution that will be exhibit is TVU MediaMind, a tool that features story-centric workflow.
These solutions have been deployed for the coverage of events such as Paris-Dakar Rally or the Credit Andorrà G-Series, and will be used for upcoming sports broadcasts, such as European football championships, the Summer and Winter Games or the Rugby World Cup.
