Wohler Technologies today announced the appointment of Liam Connors to the role of senior sales executive in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) for the company’s RadiantGrid business line. From Wohler’s offices in London, Connors will be responsible for RadiantGrid’s expanding U.K., European, Middle Eastern, and African customer base. In addition to raising the profile of RadiantGrid file-based solutions, he also will manage sales of RadiantGrid products to both new and existing customers in the broadcast, media, and entertainment markets.

“Liam’s ability to recognize and address the business and operational needs of customers has made him a very successful solution provider,” said Craig Newbury, vice president of sales for the Wohler RadiantGrid business line. “Our RadiantGrid line of file-based media transformation solutions provides media enterprises of all sizes with cost-effective solutions for improving the efficiency of their workflows and the productivity of their operations, and I believe Liam has the insight and experience to help existing and potential customers realize the benefits of RadiantGrid.”

Connors’ experience in sales and account management includes roles at PlayBox Technology, a file-based playout solutions company serving the broadcast and corporate markets, and at Boxer Systems Ltd., a technology supplier and systems integrator serving the broadcast and postproduction markets. At both companies, Connors was responsible for building relationships, designing and presenting customer-specific solutions, and managing aspects of sales and marketing strategy.
