Chyron claims world-first wireless real-time virtual production with TrackVision

Chyron and TrackVision deliver world’s first wireless real-time virtual production workflow

Chyronhas announced the successful implementation of the world’s first wireless real-time virtual production in collaboration with TrackVision. Debuted at IBC 2026 in Amsterdam, the workflow features the transmission of detailed camera tracking data to Chyron VSAR to significantly streamline and elevate virtual production, as the company has claimed in a statement.

The wireless delivery of relevant, detailed camera and lens metadata embedded within frame accurate timecode stamps, was enabled by the TrackVision to Chyron VSAR protocol. In addition to X, Y and Z positional data, this integration looks forward to providing data for roll, tilt, zoom, focus, lens distortion, and focal distance. For this IBC demonstration, wireless delivery has been provided by TVU Networks.

“Eliminating the tedium of placing positional markers saves significant time and unleashes unlimited creative possibilities”, explains Aldo Campisi, vice president of Latin American sales at Chyron. “This is something that our customers really want. It’s 100% wireless and very low latency, with a high degree of precision, resulting in very compelling viewer experiences”.

Julio Baffa, CEO and lead developer at TrackVision, adds: “This unique integration has generated excitement among top tier broadcasters like those who rely on Chyron VSAR. We know that efficiency without compromising quality is increasingly important for broadcasters. Our powerful and extremely accurate high definition protocol expands the possibilities of Chyron VSAR”.

Additionally, Chyron is partnering with other technology partners at IBC 2026 for its end-to-end virtual and augmented reality demonstration, including ProCyc (green screen), Ikan (professional lighting and teleprompter), Stype (mechanical camera jib and optical tracking), and UberDisplays (LED).

The complete demonstration included teleportation – bringing a remote presenter into a studio set – as well as integration with other products in the Chyron portfolio including AXIS (maps and charts) and Chyron Weather.
