Ateme to present tools and experiences for the new revolution in the video industry

Ateme will demonstrating video-delivery solutions at MWC Barcelona 2023. On booth 5G-18 from February 27th to March 2nd, communication service providers, broadcasters, and content providers will see solutions to increase their reach, improve network monetization, and enable immersive and high-quality user experiences while also reducing power consumption.

Ateme will also demonstrate a Metaverse virtual lounge experience for social interaction while watching live events together in a virtual space, in low latency on any screen. The Virtual Lounge is a combination of augmented reality and virtual reality, with avatars interacting from different locations in the same virtual space.

In addition, Ateme will demonstrate end-to-end low-latency streaming over 5G using hybrid multicast and unicast delivery to televisions and mobile phones.

“The video industry is on the brink of a new revolution,” commented Williams Tovar, 5G Media Streaming Solutions Director at Ateme. “It is already equipped to face the anytime, anywhere, any screen paradigm. The next challenge will be to beat the competition for attention coming from gaming and social media. We are excited to be showcasing how we are using 5G and the Metaverse to help the industry meet this new challenge, while also making streaming more efficient – so that ultimately, service and content providers can increase profitability.”
