BBC launches redesigned global website and app

The new BBC.com and BBC app feature a revamped homepage, offering a mix of global news stories and curated features. Users can navigate to different sections, including News, World, Culture, Innovation, Earth, Sport, Business, and Travel, to access a wide range of content. Additionally, the platforms offer more BBC videos, live coverage, and breaking news alerts.

Advertising partners can leverage premium ad units seamlessly integrated with BBC content, along with advanced targeting capabilities for more effective campaigns. The unified digital ecosystem across web and app allows for enhanced flexibility and opportunities for advertising and sponsorship.

The launch of BBC.com and the BBC app represents a significant step in the BBC’s digital transformation, supported by investments in regions like North America. The platforms reinforce the BBC’s position as the world’s most trusted news broadcaster, driven by its public service mission and editorial standards.

The development and operation of BBC.com and the BBC app are overseen by BBC Studios Global Media & Streaming division, responsible for distributing and advertising BBC News globally outside of the UK. This division, part of BBC Studios, supports the BBC’s public service mission through innovative programming and international partnerships.
