Betamobil upgrades to IP and UHD its trucks with Riedel’s Micron UHD solution

Betamobil, provider of OB production and facilities, is upgrading its trucks to IP-based operations. Therefore, the company has acquired 14 MediorNet MicroN UHD devices from Riedel to be installed on its UHD5 vans, recently equipped with the capacity to operate UHD productions.
Riedel´s MicroN UHD was introduced last year and it’s the newest model from MediorNet MicroN family. This is not the latest model acquired by Betamobil from Riedel, as the UH5 vans are also equipped with Bolero wireless intercom. With the ability to deploy up to three Bolero antennas and eight beltpacks, Betamobil is able to extend communications capabilities to its production crews for many types and sizes of live events.
Betamobil has recently used its UHD5 vans with Riedel equipment to cover the latest Jazzfest Berlin. The event had performances from different locations, which needed to be linked. Also, the provider of OB production has recently managed the signal from FIS Alpine World Ski Championships 2021 in Cortina d’Ampezzo, Italy.
