Custom Consoles to showcase next-gen M-Desk Technical HA desk at TSE Birmingham and MPTS London

The company reveals trade show plans for 2024

Custom Consoles has unveiled its schedule for trade shows in 2024. The company will showcase its latest control room consoles at booth 5/L40 during The Security Event (NEC Birmingham, April 30 – May 2) and booth J26 at The Media Production & Technology Show (Olympia London, May 15-16).

Commenting on the upcoming shows, Gary Fuller, Sales Manager at Custom Consoles, stated, “TSE 2022 and 2023 were instrumental for us, drawing significant interest from visitors for both our established and newly released product lines. TSE 2023 marked a milestone as the largest and most attended show in its four-year history, with over 275 exhibitors and a record-breaking 11,231 visitors.”

“At TSE 2024, we will showcase the latest iteration of our height-adjustable M-Desk Technical HA, incorporating new features based on feedback from our users,” Fuller added. “The health benefits of height-adjustable desks are well-documented, as highlighted by Fraser Turvey at Milford Haven Vessel Traffic Service. M-Desk Technical HA is also tailored for control room or edit suite staff in hot-desking environments.”

“We’ll also feature the latest version of M-Desk Technical HA at MPTS, a popular choice for broadcast media edit suites,” Fuller continued. “Additionally, we’ll exhibit a console from our successful Module-R series, enabling the creation of project-specific control desks quickly and affordably.”

Neil Reed, Custom Consoles’ founder and Managing Director, noted, “Prior to TSE and MPTS, we’ll participate in the April NAB Show in Las Vegas, focusing on networking rather than having a booth. NAB and IBC in September provide excellent opportunities for B2B discussions with global broadcast system integrators.”

The MDesk-Technical HA is a heavy-duty workstation designed for security and broadcast markets. Its notable feature is a motorized desktop that can be adjusted in height from 66 cm to 125 cm, allowing operators to work seated or standing. With a lifting capacity of 400 kg, it offers flexibility for various setups. The Module-R system, on the other hand, allows the creation of bespoke broadcast control-room furniture from a range of high-quality components.
