disguise adds cloud production capabilities by acquiring Polygon Labs

disguise has announced that the company has recently acquired Polygon Labs, a broadcast data and content visualisation solutions platform. The objective of the purchase has been to reach another milestone in disguise’s move towards cloud-based production.

Polygon Labs’ platform it’s trusted by broadcasters such as CNN, Univision, The Weather Channel and TV Globo. Their services provide high-end Unreal Engine graphics with real-time data visualisation via their cloud or on-prem solutions. By adding this solution to disguise’s portfolio users will access to a wider range of broadcast workflows which empower remote production and cloud-based collaboration, via xR studios.
