EcoVadis awards EVS with a Silver Medal for its sustainability performance

EcoVadis, a provider of business sustainability ratings, has recently awarded EVS with a Silver medal for its sustainability performance.

The EcoVadis sustainability assessment evaluates how well a company has integrated the principles of sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) into its business and management system.

The methodology covers seven management indicators, across 21 sustainability criteria, in four themes (environment, labor & human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement). It is based on standards such as Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), and ISO 26000.

EVS has achieved 88%. The rating is based on a company’s policies, actions and results, as well as inputs from third-party professionals and external stakeholders.

“Receiving the Silver status for our first participation in the EcoVadis program is an important step forward and a great recognition of our commitment to sustainability and the efforts we have made so far” says EVS’ CEO Serge Van Herck.  “This is an encouraging score which gives us even more energy and motivation to further increase our ESG efforts going forward. We are now very much looking forward to building on this progress and to make EVS a champion also in corporate sustainability.”
