EditShare develops several upgrades and deployments of its EFS storage network systems in UAE

EditShare announced that the company has integrated two EFS storage network systems, alongside FLOW workflow tools, to clients in the UAE. The solution was implemented by the partner in the region: UBMS (United Broadcast & Media Solutions).

One of the clients was a division of the Dubai Government that has been using EditShare storage for over five years. The objective of the renewal process was to provide access to all users from a common location. They has extended storage node, deployed a redundant backup site in an alternative location and integrated an LTO tape-based ARK archive sub-system.

Another case in point was the one concerning MBC Group, an Abu Dhabi-based broadcaster. They needed to boost production workflows. With this idea in mind, EditShare deployed EFS storage network with redundancy guaranteed with two alternative locations and an ARK tape archive maintained in synchronization by the FLOW asset management software that resides on the EditShare storage network. The result is that content can be ingested as soon as it is shot, and it is also immediately available to all the editors.

Said Bacho, Chief Revenue Officer at EditShare, added “We are delighted to be involved with two important high-profile storage implementations in the Middle East region. We understand the significance of protecting valuable assets and this fully fledged EditShare solution, with complete redundancy, ensures that robust, secure and cost-efficient workflows are maintained across these mission critical environments.”
