EVS is ready for IBC 2019: products and technologies

At IBC’s stand 8.B90, EVS will showcase its latest solutions, which features machine learning and native support for IP. According to the company, “Full IP interoperability and integration with third-party tools are inherent in all news EVS solutions and updates”.

EVS will launch of a new automated multi-camera positioning and framing system, which analyzes images in real time and guides robotic cameras toward the live action. The solution, ready to be integrated with the EVS X-One unified production system, uses VIA MIND’s machine learning tech, as well as EVS’ AI-driven functionalities. Precisely, X-One’s newest version comes with new features that allows a single operator to do live switching, create replays, control audio, play back content, create and insert graphics and now generate highlights.

EVS’s booth will also showcase:

  • XS-NEO-software-defined server.
  • IPD-VIA Ingest App.
  • The software-defined switched for creative production Dyvi, now featuring a PMY processing module that supports both SDI and IP for Hybrid SDI/IP connectivity and operation in formats including UHD-4K and 1080p.
  • XT-VIA and XS-VIA demonstrations. The live productions servers have passed the JT-NM SMPTE ST 2110 tests and now includes the new Multicam 16.2 software engine.
  • An all-IP live production infrastructure including XT-VIA live production servers, EVS XStore scalable central storage system, EVS IPDirector live PAM system and Dyvi. The workflow will be based on SMPTE’s 2110 IP protocol and RAI will collaborate with various remote locations.

IBC will take place at the Amsterdam’s RAI from September 13 – 17.
