Grass Valley devices aim to become first choice for Broadcast Solutions Group customers
Grass Valley has recently signed an enterprise pricing deal with (OB) truck manufacturing company and systems integrator Broadcast Solutions Group. The objective is that Broadcast Solutions invest US$31 million over a five-year period to deliver on its vision to develop live content solutions for global media companies. The aim of Grass Valley included in this partnership is to be the digital transformation partner of choice of creators and providers of premium live content. As part of this commitment, Broadcast Solutions Group’s Nordic Team will establish a new competence center in Helsinki based on Grass Valley’s Agile Media Processing Platform (AMPP).
The enterprise agreement strengthens our partnership with Grass Valley and supports our ambition to be the leader in the media systems integration and services market in the Nordics. Both our companies are trusted brands, and together we are able to help customers as they navigate a transitional period in the media and entertainment sector by bridging legacy and future technologies,” Antti Laurila, Managing Director of Broadcast Solutions Nordic said.
The companies are also working on the Grass Valley edition of IP OB Vans, known as Streamline. These trucks support 12-24 camera set ups and will be ready next year.
