Gravity Media Australia set to provide broadcast technology and production for Adelaide Equestrian Festival

Gravity Media recently announced its plans to handle the broadcast technology and television production for this year’s Adelaide Equestrian Festival across Australia and various international regions. The Adelaide Equestrian Festival is an annual event that draws 70 equestrian athletes and their horses from across the country to compete for spots on the Australian team for the upcoming Olympic Games in Paris.

Taking place over the weekend, the Adelaide Equestrian Event unfolds in the heart of Adelaide CBD, specifically Victoria Park/Pakapakanthi and its surrounding parklands. The four-day festival highlights the disciplines of Dressage, Cross Country, and Show Jumping. Adelaide Horse Trials Management Inc has entrusted Gravity Media Australia with the significant responsibility of managing the event’s technology, logistics, and production.

Gravity Media Australia will use cutting-edge high-definition outside broadcast trucks, along with specialized broadcast technology and communication services developed in-house. Coverage of the Adelaide Equestrian Festival will be nationally broadcast on Channel Nine as a one-hour highlights package post-event, and simultaneously livestreamed worldwide on Horse & Country TV, the premier equestrian sports and lifestyle network.

Belinda Lindh, Adelaide Equestrian Festival Competition Director, expressed excitement about collaborating with Gravity Media Australia to deliver outstanding coverage of Australia’s top equestrian event to a global audience:”The size of the venue on Cross Country Day presents significant technical challenges, and with Gravity Media’s broadcast expertise and technology, we can showcase stunning visuals of Adelaide’s picturesque parklands and the Olympic sport of eventing, livestreamed worldwide during the competition,” Lindh stated.

Nigel Naseby, Business Development Manager at Gravity Media Australia, added, “We are thrilled to partner with the Adelaide Equestrian Festival and provide coverage of this exceptional event in a breathtaking setting to a global audience.”
