Mediaproxy to showcase latest advancements in compliance and monitoring by exception at METexpo 2024

Mediaproxy has announced that it’s set to unveil cutting-edge developments at METexpo 2024, the premier broadcast and media exhibition in the Asia-Pacific region held in its home market of Sydney.

At this biennial event organized by SMPTE Australia, New Zealand, and South Pacific, Mediaproxy will shine a spotlight on the LogServer logging and analysis system’s multi-format, multi-standard capabilities, along with the monitoring features provided by the Monwall multiviewer.

As a player in delivering compliance monitoring technology to Australian broadcasters, OTT platforms, and playout facilities, Mediaproxy has consistently been a prominent exhibitor at METexpo. The LogServer, in tandem with the Monwall multiviewer, stands as the go-to solution for TV broadcasters and streaming services across Australia.

During METexpo, the latest iteration of LogServer will be on display, showcasing its ability to operate from the cloud and efficiently cluster decentralized systems on IP networks. The LogServer-Monwall synergy will be demonstrated, emphasizing exception-based monitoring. This innovative approach ensures that a channel is only displayed on the Monwall screen when LogServer detects a fault, liberating operators from the need to vigilantly monitor multiple program outputs.

LogServer adheres to the industry’s prevailing standards, including SMPTE ST 2110 and 4K HDR for media transport over IP networks, and SCTE, encompassing dynamic ad insertion. By aligning with these standards, LogServer enhances compliance recording and monitoring functionality, enabling users to meet regulatory requirements throughout the entire IP chain.

Erik Otto, Chief Executive of Mediaproxy, expressed excitement about returning to Sydney for METexpo 2024, highlighting the event’s unique venue at the esteemed Royal Randwick. Otto stated, “This year’s event is particularly exciting because it is being held at the Royal Randwick, which is not only one of Australia’s most famous race courses but also a highly regarded venue and social center. We hope to welcome customers old and new to such a prestigious place to see the latest features of our LogServer and Monwall systems.”

METexpo 2024 is scheduled to take place at Royal Randwick from March 5 to 7, offering a platform for industry leaders to explore and engage with the latest advancements in broadcast, streaming, and media technologies.
