Introduced at NAB Show 2024, Mo-Captury represents a paradigm shift in motion capture technology as Mo-Sys states, the company states. According to the tech firm, unlike traditional methods requiring bulky suits, this new solution offers a seamless markerless experience, allowing individuals to effortlessly interact with virtual environments. By overlaying a transparent avatar onto the user, this tool enables natural interactions within virtual worlds, revolutionizing not only the broadcasting and film sectors but also commercial presentations.

Developed in partnership with Dari Motion, the new solution boasts seamless integration and tailored functionalities for virtual production scenarios. This innovative solution empowers users to track finger movements and facial expressions without the constraints of traditional attire, facilitating instantaneous calibration. With Mo-Captury, users can seamlessly blend real-world actions with augmented reality (AR) graphics, elevating content creation to higher levels of immersion.

Attendees will also witness the capabilities of Mo-Sys’ StarTracker Max, renowned as the most precise camera tracking solution for virtual production, as Mo-Sys indicates. By seamlessly integrating real-world elements with virtual environments, StarTracker empowers creatives to craft captivating visuals in both green screen and LED virtual studios.

Additionally, Mo-Sys will demonstrate the latest iteration of its content server solution, VP Pro 5.4.0. Released shortly after the unveiling of Epic Games’ Unreal Engine 5.4, this update underscores Mo-Sys’ dedication to providing clients with cutting-edge virtual production tools.
