Motorsports.tv partners with Grabyo to use its cloud video platform

Motorsport.tv has announced a partnership with Grabyo to use its cloud video platform. The company will use this technology to produce its motorsports news channel entirely on the cloud.

Announced in March, the channel delivers breaking news as it happens from around the globe on the Network’s OTT platform Motorsport.tv. The service will be hosted from studios in London and Miami with bulletins on the hour and the half hour, framed by additional content in between

“We are excited to launch the news channel and offer live news and insights to the motorsport community”, comments Eric Gilbert, Motorsport.tv President. “Partnering with Grabyo will also allow us to deliver TV-quality short form video outputs to our 56 million monthly users across our web platforms and also on our social channels. We know that our viewers are looking for more access to motorsports content throughout the week, and our mission is to ensure nobody misses a thing.”

“We are proud to work with Motorsport.tv to help launch this new live service and expand the way that motorsport fans can access news and live updates on all platforms”, adds Gareth Capon, Grabyo CEO. “Enabling Motorsport.tv to deliver a digital service that brings fans closer to the action, whilst simplifying workflows in the cloud, is a win for fans and production teams alike.”
