MwareTV launches its latest solution for OTT and IPTV creation at IBC: TVMS

MwareTV will demonstrate at IBC 2022 their capabilities offering establishment and delivering of OTT and IPTV services. Company will be settled at stand 5.D60.

The latest version of the core TV Management System (TVMS) includes a new App Builder. The service from MwareTV provides all the functionality needed, from content acquisition to delivery, including apps for multiple platforms. Company’s App Builder supports platforms, including iOS, Android and AndroidTV, TVOS, FireTV, WebOS, Tizen, WebTV and Lightning Framework enabled devices. There are templates to get users started, with the ability to modify them completely, with 9 menu types, 33 home page widgets and a lot of set-ups.

The broader updates to the TVMS include a redesign of the user interface, as well as integration of the cloud hosting for scalability, reliability, access from anywhere and the lowest possible total cost of ownership (TCO). The system now allows direct connection from security cameras: where MwareTV is used to providing a television service for an apartment complex, residents can now view communal security cameras as a channel in the package.

Services can include live television, catch-up and cloud PVR functionality as well as the playout of recorded content. In some geographies, MwareTV has a licensing partner which gives users a one-stop shop for a complete set of channels including all content as well as the delivery technology.

“What we are offering is completely unique – a way of building an app with absolutely no need for programming knowledge and no need to code at all. This is completely transformative, whether you are a telco building a national streaming service or a community group offering local facilities inside a residential building: now you can provide exactly the features you want to give your subscribers, and have it look exactly the way you want,” said MwareTV CEO Sander Kerstens.
