NEP inaugurates a new production centre in London
NEP Group announced the opening of a new production centre at 200 Gray’s Inn Road, in London. The new building includes control rooms, edit, sub-cut and media management facilities, among others, and it’s connected to NEP’s global network.
The production centre is connected via fibre to the NEP’s extensive connectivity capabilities, which allows the installation to be on touch with any location in the UK, Europe and North America. With a speed connection that goes up to 100Gb, it is also connected to NEP’s AnyLive network. NEP can also provide any of their in-house connectivity assets, including SNG’s, hybrid satellite/fibre vehicles, satellite flyaway systems, and more.
This integration into the NEP’s global network is very important for Steve Jenkins, President of NEP UK & Ireland who says, “London is integrated into NEP’s global network of data centres and production facilities, which provides access to the full range and depth of our resources and media solutions around the world, real-time. We can also rapidly deploy new, innovative products and services as they launch. This flexibility, combined with the power of NEP’s infrastructure, greatly expands the creative possibilities available to our clients.”
Looking closer to the new building, it counts with 3 production rooms, 2 sound control rooms, 3 multi-functional production spaces, 9 flexible control rooms, a green screen studio and a temporary equipment room.
Conveniently located with easy access to public transportation and several major airports, the NEP Production Centre – London is in close proximity to London’s many media institutions and infrastructure. The building includes reception, atrium, break-out space and two meeting areas.
