NMR Events uses Quicklink Studio to ease participation in their virtual events

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, NMR Events has transitioned into a completely virtual event workflow. In order to offer a high-quality and ultra-low latency audio and video signal to performers, speakers and presenters the company has adopted the Quicklink Studio solution.

The Quicklink Studio enables NMR Events to gather remote contributions from a laptop or mobile device with no apps or software installation required. The participants can be invited by manager and the tool enables to remotely control and configure the contributor’s camera, microphone, speaker settings, resolution, data bandwidth and latency if required.

“The ability to assign unique presenter links with timed validity in advance provides our end users with confidence and comfort. The simple and guided joining experience allows for even the most non-technical participants to join with ease”, said Jonathan Joyce, Senior Technician at NMR Events.

The largest project Quicklink Studio was involved in was a virtual award show. There was a equirement: award-winners could be easily promoted into the program without any preparation or onboarding. With the ease-of-use, dependability and Assisted Invite mode, the winners joined via link and were organised into a virtual waiting room where they could see and hear the live program audio and video. As the winners were announced, they were swiftly moved to a live on-air channel, enabling NMR to capture the initial reactions and maintain authenticity.
