Panasonic announces upgrades on its Kairos live production platform
Panasonic has announced a package of upgrades on its live video production, Kairos. According to the company statement, it includes a more powerful mainframe option, an expansion in standard HD and 4K inputs/outputs, and increased video and still image recording capacity.
“With its intuitive and user-friendly interface, is fully customizable, encompasses everything needed to adapt to any live production scenario, and provides the tools needed to create a highly engaging and visually stimulating production,” said Michael Bergeron, senior category owner, production systems, Panasonic.” As venues are permitted to host in-person events again, Panasonic’s system will be there to support AV teams connect with their audiences to create memorable experiences.”
The new Kairos Core 1000 enables the platform to be utilized in a wider range of more complex productions. According to Panasonic, it increases the system’s video processing capacity and expanded HD and 4K inputs/outputs . Additionally, the new KAIROS core 1000 mainframe offers 4K support and a Canvas function as standard feature, and the Version 1.1 software allows less restricted use of the multi-layered video composition, output in high resolution including 8K video.
