NFL Super Bowl Classics: Pluto TV launches new channel ahead Super Bowl LVIII

This brand-new 24/7 free channel exclusively on Pluto TV featuring NFL’s past Super Bowl games for a limited time: from January, the 18th to February, 21st

Pluto TV, a free streaming television service, has unveiled an exclusive pop-up channel to get fans excited in the lead-up to Super Bowl LVIII. This new addition complements the existing ‘NFL Channel’ on Pluto TV, which was launched in 2019 and offers live game day coverage, NFL game replays, original shows, Emmy-Award winning series, and more.

The ‘NFL Super Bowl Classics’ channel will showcase past Super Bowl games and specials 24/7, allowing NFL enthusiasts to relive every pass, touchdown, and Hail Mary from some of the most iconic sports showdowns in history. The channel will be available for a limited time, running from January 18 through February 21.

In addition to full game replays, the channel will feature NFL Films programming, docu-series, and specials that highlight the rich legacy of America’s favorite pastime. These include ‘History of the Super Bowl,’ which provides insights into the inception and evolution of the Super Bowl into the biggest sporting event in the world. There will also be retrospectives from ‘NFL Throwback,’ covering defining moments and players in segments like ‘Greatest Super Bowl Finishes,’ ‘Ranking every Super Bowl MVP Performance,’ and ‘Craziest Super Bowl Plays of All Time.’

Amy Kuessner, EVP of programming for Pluto TV, expressed excitement about the partnership with the NFL, stating, “Thanks to our incredible partners at the NFL, we have the opportunity to offer a window into NFL history, and we know audiences will be thrilled, no matter what team they root for. The addition of the ‘NFL Super Bowl Classics’ channel to Pluto TV’s lineup allows fans to discover and relive those unforgettable games and moments in one place, all for free.”

‘NFL Super Bowl Classics’ taps into the NFL archives, allowing fans to re-live some of the greatest moments in Super Bowl history, such as the nail-biting first overtime in Super Bowl LI, David Tyree’s incredible helmet catch in Super Bowl XLII, and San Francisco’s inspiring 92-yard drive to win Super Bowl XXIII.

Viewers can exclusively access the channel on the Pluto TV app or connected TV devices in the Sports category. All games will stream sequentially with specials and docuseries interspersed. For additional sports action, fans can explore Pluto TV’s year-round Sports category, offering sports news, football, baseball, soccer, golf, bull-riding, boxing, and more.

CBS Sports will provide multiplatform coverage of Super Bowl LVIII from Las Vegas on Sunday, Feb. 11, featuring CBS Sports’ presentation on CBS and Paramount+, along with a unique telecast exclusively on Nickelodeon.
