Revolut joins Blast Premier Spring Final as presenting partner at London’s OVO Arena Wembley

Blast, an important esports entertainment company, has announced a groundbreaking partnership with the global financial technology giant, Revolut, for the upcoming Blast Premier Spring Final. This event marks the highly anticipated return of Counter-Strike to the United Kingdom this summer.

For Revolut, this partnership signifies its debut in the esports realm, known for its global entertainment and immersive experiences. Embracing esports aligns with Revolut’s mission to deliver exceptional experiences to a worldwide community of tech-savvy gamers, according to the company’s declarations.

As the Official Finance and Payments Partner of the BLAST Premier Spring Final, set to be held at London’s OVO Arena Wembley from June 12th to 16th, Revolut will play a significant role in the event. The partnership will include digital broadcast integration across platforms like Blast.tv, Twitch, and YouTube, dedicated Revolut broadcast segments, and physical branding and activations at the arena.

This year’s Spring Final promises to be the most significant Counter-Strike event in the UK since the 2018 London Major, where Astralis clinched the championship title at the OVO Arena Wembley. Online fans can expect a specialized broadcast segment focusing on the economy, along with exclusive giveaways featuring exciting prizes. Revolut will kick off the Spring Final with an opening party on Friday, June 14th. Additionally, a Revolut booth onsite will offer fans exclusive discounts and perks, including priority access to meet-and-greet sessions with professional esports players.

Alexander Lewin, SVP, Commercial Revenue at BLAST said: “We’re thrilled to mark the historic return of CS arena events to the UK with a groundbreaking presenting partnership. Revolut has been at the forefront of digital banking and financial innovation for nearly a decade, and shares BLAST’s dedication to creating fantastic experiences for fans and customers. As presenting partner, Revolut will feature prominently across our entire broadcast and arena experience, and we look forward to incorporating their innovative digital-first approach. This partnership is testament to the value esports can bring to a leading global brand, and we are delighted Revolut has chosen BLAST for their first entry into competitive gaming.”

The Blast Premier Spring Final commences on June 12th, featuring eight of Counter-Strike’s top teams competing for a total prize pool of $425,000. The winning team will secure a spot in the Premier World Final later this year.

Participating teams include: Astralis, FaZe Clan, G2 Esports, Natus Vincere, SAW, Virtus.pro, Team Spirit, and Team Vitality.
