These are the new products that Sennheiser, Neumann and Dear Reality will showcase at IBC 2022

At IBC 2022, Sennheiser, Neumann and Dear Reality will show all the solutions they have developed for professional and amateur environments. Visitors to booth 8D50 will be able to experience AMBEO 2-channel spatial audio, learn about Sennheiser’s upcoming EW-DX wireless system, experience Neumann’s new KH 150 monitors in an immersive installation or listen to Neumann’s new NDH 30 studio headphones with open back.
AMBEO two-channel audio is a renderer developed by Sennheiser and offers an immersive audio experience with standard stereo speakers. It can be used as a replacement for stereo, as it does not require more bandwidth. In an active configuration, booth visitors will be able to compare the AMBEO experience with a standard stereo mix.
IBC will be the first European trade show where visitors will be able to get a first-hand look at the upcoming EW-DX line. This range has low latency, spectrum-saving equidistant frequency spacing and an ultra-wide input dynamic range. There will be two- and four-channel receivers, new handheld, bodypack and desktop transmitters, and new advantages such as its higher switching bandwidth of 88 MHz, AES 256 encryption, e-ink displays and many more.
On the monitoring side, visitors will be able to familiarize themselves with the new NDH 30 open-back studio headphones by listening to tracks from their own smartphones. The centerpiece of Neumann’s studio monitor range is the new KH 150 with AES67 option, which predestines this monitor for broadcasters’ AES67 workflows.
Featuring an AES67-based Neumann 5.1.4 monitor setup with the new KH 150 and two KH 750 DSP subwoofers, the live demo section of the booth will feature virtual mixing sessions by immersive audio expert Dear Reality. Visitors will be able to follow an immersive mixing process using Dear Reality’s dearVR SPATIAL CONNECT VR controller and the dearVR PRO spatializer.
