Telestream upgrades Inspect 2110 monitoring platform
Telestream has announced a number of upgrades for its monitoring platform, Inspect 2110. According to the company statement, these solutions will improve insight into new IP workflows.
New to the platform is the monitoring of ST 2022-6 data streams (transport of high bit rate media over IP networks) which provides a seamless means of assuring reliability within hybrid SDI-over-IP and ST 2110 deployments. It also adds the monitoring of primary and secondary streams in applications which employ 2022-7 for stream redundancy. Furthermore, the upgrades include the support for NMOS IS-04 and IS-05 APIs.
“As live decentralized production of content becomes more and more prevalent, and ST 2110 essences create hundreds or thousands of additional elements to monitor and diagnose, the Inspect 2110 solution, coupled with Telestream’s PRISM probes, enables a broader and deep analysis of IP content, PTP synchronization, and hybrid networks,” states Agostino Canepa, Director of Product Management at Telestream.
