TSL Products installs an IP routing solution at BerkleeNYC
Working along with Diversified, TSL Products has provided an IP routing interface that marries TSL’s virtual control processor, the GTP-V1, and its Virtual Panels into a solution that TSL has coined “IP-Cross Connect” to connect four recording studios at Power Station, a campus-based studios at BerkleeNYC.
According to TSL, this project allows the four studios to share large audio and video resources and share it for larger projects. The facilities count with two dozen of 4K PTZ Cameras and with live-performance available space. To connect them, Diversified created a control software and matrix environment using an IP network design with COTS hardware and approached DNF Controls.
Clem Phillips, senior project engineer for Diversified, said “TSL helped us put together a custom control layer for the entire facility to control the SFPs using an NMOS ISO4 registry hosted within the virtualised servers alongside the GTP-V1 control processor”.
