Ateme Disaster Recovery solution for Volia Ukraine

Due to the Ukrainian conflict, Cloud DVR and CDN platform Volia required a strong Disaster Recovery solution, which has been implemented by Ateme 

Volia, a pay-TV and cable broadband service provider in Ukraine, has trusted in Ateme to supply a Disaster Recovery solution for its packaging and CDN platform. Now, the TV service provider is using the Ateme NEA packaging and CDN solutions to launch a Disaster Recovery headend. This way, even in the most challenging circumstances both Ateme and Volia will continue to deliver high-quality news and entertainment programming OTT with a robust connection for Ukrainian customers.

The new Ateme’s hardware-agnostic solution is integrated and was live since May 2023 and, acording to Volia platform provides the flexibility that Volia required, since media and entertainment customers in Ukraine cannot readily secure exact hardware or equipment. .
