Mongolian pay-TV Univision relies on Viaccess-Orca solutions to enhance its content services

Viaccess-Orca (VO) has announced that Mongolia’s leading pay-TV operator Univision, part of the Unitel Group, will deliver its IPTV service with a solution from VO. Particularly, the company relies in VO’s Service Delivery Platform (SDP), TV Business Analytics, Content Discovery & Personalization, monitoring, customizable TV Apps, Multi-DRM, and Secure Video Player.
VO’s TV Platform will provide Univision with service agility, enabling them to create content services or aggregate content offerings. It supports added-value TV services and microservices including live channels, start-over TV, catch-up TV, pay per view, TVOD, SVOD, season pass, movie packages, and VOD promotions and bundles, as well as ad-supported business models.
Univision will utilize VO’s TV Business Analytics, along with its Content Discovery and Personalization solutions, to deliver relevant content to subscribers based on algorithms. . In addition, the operator will leverage VO’s Multi-DRM support and Secure Video Player to assure protection on every screen.
