Varnish Software to showcase its technological developments at Mobile World Congress 2023

Varnish Software, a company focused in streaming and content delivery software solutions, has announced that will show their technology at Mobile World Congress 2023 in Barcelona, February 27 to March 2. The booth is located at Hall 3 Stand 3D7Ex.

Demonstration will focus the company’s CDN, caching and edge solutions. Varnish Software will also unveil a CDN performance benchmark for throughput and power efficiency per server.

Other technology highlights are:

  • The recently updated Varnish Enterprise 6, featuring Varnish Edge Cloud. It is a content delivery technology stack for high-performance websites and content providers, that delivers fast streaming experiences. It can be installed in front of any server.
  • Advancements to Mobile Edge and 5G Delivery, including a new integration of Varnish solutions into SixSq’s Nuvla platform and marketplace. This projects also is part of EBU’s 5G-EMERGE consortium to bridge 5G satellite communications with advanced web caching and content delivery at the edge.
  • New Varnish Traffic Router and Varnish Controller 5.0, which provides tools for load balancing and traffic routing to ensure video delivery and data-heavy web content is delivered from the optimal location for the best user experience.

“Businesses need to cut costs, deliver consistent experiences with higher resolution content online and capitalize on the latest use cases for 5G all at the same time. This is a tall order, especially when you consider the rising cost of hardware,” said Adrian J. Herrera, Chief Marketing Officer at Varnish Software. “At MWC, we’ll be showcasing advanced solutions that can help CSPs and telcos scale rapidly to reach new performance heights, while getting the most out of hardware they are already using. Additionally, our new benchmarks for throughput and power efficiency per server aren’t just next generation, but next level.”
