Vizrt updates Vizrt XR Set to integrate with Unreal Engine
Vizrt has recently announced the release of its Virtual Studio Solution: Vizrt XR Set. With this new release of the XR Set, Vizrt unites two graphics engines in same workflow controlled from a single location: Viz Engine and, natively integrated, Unreal Engine.
“For many of our customers, Virtual Sets and extended reality are part of the creative output they want to use every day”, said Remo Ziegler, VP, Product Management, Vizrt. “With the release of the new XR Set, we make the everyday workflow simple, so more can be done with less effort at a higher level of quality, which in turn wins and retains audiences for our customers’ productions”.
The new Vizrt XR Set integrates the upgraded Viz Engine 4.3. With this upgrade professionals are able to choose the render blade they want to deliver graphics. The can select between the Fusion option, the specialist broadcast render blade gives access to PBR (physical-based rendering); or Unreal Engine integrated with Viz Engine.
The XR Set control interface makes their renderings transparent regardless of where they come from. It includes automation possibilities. Also, XR Set provides fast camera setup, tracking and keying configuration. The setup of the Fusion Keyer allows users to deliver crisp keys constantly.
