The Weather Channel’s will deploy Zero Density’s virtual studio and augmented reality technology for mixed reality presentations.

“In our effort to continually evolve and enhance weather presentation and storytelling across all platforms, we’ve added Zero Density to our technology lineup for our Immersive Mixed Reality experiences,” said Michael Potts, Vice President of Design at The Weather Channel television network. “This addition will make our offerings even more dynamic and engaging.”

Ulas Kaçmaz, Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Zero Density, added “The Weather Channel is an exemplary network both for the quality of journalism and their technology use. They strive to leave a mark on the audience with their stories and save lives rather than report it! Reality Engine has the toolset to make this happen.”

Zero Density’s Reality Engine is a native Unreal Engine, node-based compositor which offers photorealistic 3D virtual studio and augmented reality. Zero Density will assist the network to transform and augment their 3D presentations.
