InfoComm Latin America is moving towards its second edition, which will take place from Wednesday 21 to Friday 23 October 2026 at the World Trade Center International Exhibition and Convention Center in Mexico City. As the event approaches its opening, several major developments have been announced, including six audiovisual experiences designed to bring technology to life for visitors, as AVIXA has claimed in a statement.
This year’s edition will feature new exhibitors, as well as a line-up of manufacturers offering technical training sessions and guided tours of the exhibition floor. Registration is free and available to both visitors and members of the media.
Six experiences
Throughout the event, visitors will be able to explore six experiences specifically designed to demonstrate how audio, video, lighting, content and connectivity can be integrated to transform a space and create memorable experiences.
“The experiences we will present are made possible by the commitment and creativity of the companies taking part in the event. Their collaboration allows us to showcase real-world applications of audiovisual technology in everyday settings, in ways that spark curiosity and open up new possibilities for visitors to the exhibition. This is one of the objectives of InfoComm events: for visitors to understand, experience and discover the potential of technology to transform spaces and experiences,” says Rodrigo Casassus Coke, CTS, Senior Director for Latin America and the Caribbean at AVIXA.
Welcome Experience
The entrance to InfoComm Latin America will be framed by an immersive LED tunnel showcasing works by invited digital artists and video mapping artists, under the creative direction of multimedia artist Patricia Saucedo.
As a meeting point, a large-format LED screen will serve as a Digital Art Gallery, displaying works by invited digital content creators.
Urban Art, Digital Technology
A wall transformed into an interactive canvas, the Digital Graffiti Wall by Graffiti+ and MEITEC, will give attendees the opportunity to create their own artwork using tools designed to reproduce the feel of spray painting.
During the event, Mexican graffiti artists will create works live. Attendees will also have dedicated opportunities to take part and become the protagonists of the experience.
Pulse, Sensory Experience
Under the creative direction of Monterrey-based experience designer Omar Serna, the Pulse space will become a seven-minute immersive show created by Mexican artists. The experience combines hyper-realistic spatial audio, lasers, lighting and immersive 3D video mapping.
The experience will be delivered through the technology and collaboration of Serpro, LANG AG and L-Acoustics.
AVIXA TV Podcast Studio
Throughout the three-day event, the podcast studio, powered by Sony technology and integrated by Tecno Planet, will bring together industry experts and leaders to discuss innovation, trends and successful case studies.
Equipped for professional recording and broadcasting, the studio will share its content through AVIXA’s channels, extending the reach of the event and turning its key conversations into material that will continue to generate value long after the exhibition concludes.
Re:Conecta Lounge
Between a conference, a demonstration and a meeting, there is also room to stop and take a break. Re:Conecta Lounge is designed as a space for conversation, meetings or simply taking a pause during the exhibition.
Created by specialists at Foto Commo, the space aims to demonstrate how audiovisual solutions can also transform environments such as offices, hotels and retail spaces, where wellbeing and human interaction are an essential part of the experience.
Room ON
Here, technology itself takes on the role of storyteller. It not only adapts to users, but also proposes simpler ways of interacting with and managing it.
Powered by Akamatech, Room ON integrates audio, video, collaboration, automation and artificial intelligence technologies to interact with people in real time.
Pro Training: Technical training from manufacturers
InfoComm Latin America will feature a Pro Training programme comprising technical training sessions delivered directly by manufacturers. The sessions are aimed at integrators and distributors, as well as professional users looking to gain a deeper understanding of the sector’s latest technological developments.
Manufacturers confirmed to deliver training sessions at this edition include Audinate, Barco, Crestron, Datapath, Deneva, Extron, Key BPS, Lightware, One Sound, Powersoft, Relacart, Shure and Sony. The topics and details of each session will be announced in the coming weeks.
Exhibition floor tours
To help visitors make the most of their time at the event, InfoComm Latin America will offer three guided tours of the exhibition floor: ‘Show Floor Tour: The Experience Begins Here’, designed specifically for those attending an InfoComm event for the first time; ‘Show Floor Tour: International Visitors’, a guide for those travelling to Mexico City to attend the event; and ‘Show Floor Tour: Technology Driving Your Operations’, aimed at end users and technology buyers looking for an overview of the solutions on display.
“InfoComm Latin America is designed to be useful both to those attending an industry event for the first time and to those who have been part of the industry for years. The exhibition floor tours give first-time visitors a clear overview of the available technology and help them plan their visit according to their needs. At the same time, the Pro Training sessions provide an opportunity for specialists to stay up to date. Our programme recognises the diversity of profiles within our community and seeks to provide value to each of them,” says Ana Elisa Benavent, Director of InfoComm Latin America.
