Testronic, the TV and games service provider, has recently added Master Quality Control (MQC) services to its UK and Poland post-production operations in response to increasing demand.
MQC is an element of post-production in film and TV, during which finished content is tested vigorously to ensure it complies with the standards required by broadcasters and distributors.
Testronic’s Master Quality Control offering includes professional supermicro superworkstation bays, a Quantum StorNext 7 SAN, multiple petabytes of storage, and Sony’s professional BVM-HX310 monitors.
The facility also utilizes Aspera’s High-Speed Transfer Server EndPoint, which enables the transfer of large files between London and Warsaw, via a dedicated 10Gbps connection.
Testronic appointed Paweł Pieczul as Project Manager for MQC services in January 2022, with the team in Warsaw having already collaborated with the company’s existing Burbank-based MQC team on several client projects.
Paweł has more than 14 years’ experience in the industry, with a background working across various media formats before moving on to building and developing a Testronic MQC team. As team lead and project manager, Paweł and his team provide the same suite of Master Quality Control services provided by Testronic from its Burbank office.
Jason Gish, President of Testronic’s Film & TV division, said: “There has been a recent and urgent need for our Master QC service offerings in the UK and EU and we were excited to expand our Warsaw office with top-of-the-line MQC bays, an upgraded server room, and a team of expert MQC technicians. Leading the team, Paweł works closely with our Burbank office to ensure consistency across our offices as well as to load balance and project share as needed.”
