Flumotion partners with Bradmax to launch a streaming solution across Europe and Latin America

Flumotion (Spain) and Bradmax (Poland) have announced a partnership with the intention of offering flexible, high-performance video playback solutions for media companies, telecom operators, and public institutions across Europe and Latin America, as the companies have claimed in a statement.

The partnership operates on two fronts: a white-label integration model where a multi-platform player is embedded into Flumotion’s managed infrastructure and delivered under the Flumotion brand; and a joint bidding model for public tenders—particularly in Spain and LATAM—where Flumotion acts as the system integrator and Bradmax provides the underlying playback technology.

“This dual-track strategy allows us to bring together two critical components of the streaming ecosystem—advanced playback capabilities and Flumotion’s scalable infrastructure, service expertise, and delivery model—to offer clients a seamless, ready-to-deploy solution”, explained Miguel Chirivella, Flumotion’s COO.

The collaboration looks forward to responding to a growing demand for end-to-end video streaming services that try to simplify implementation and to allow customers to launch faster, reduce complexity, and focus on content strategy and user engagement.

“Too often, broadcasters and OTT providers are forced to stitch together separate vendors for encoding, CDN, playback, ads, and analytics”, added Bart Nowak, CEO of Bradmax. “With this partnership, we’re offering a single, coherent stack that’s been optimized front to back. The result is lower integration risk, faster time-to-market, and better viewer experience”.

At the core of the offering is the Bradmax player, integrated across all of Flumotion’s supported platforms—web, mobile apps, Smart TVs, and casting devices. It powers bitrate streaming, reduces buffering and startup times, and supports features such as multi-DRM (Widevine, PlayReady, FairPlay, ClearKey), server-side ad insertion (VAST/VMAP), subtitles, DVR, and picture-in-picture modes.

The player’s technology allows Flumotion to plug into ad-tech, analytics, and DRM layers with minimal overhead. Bradmax’s real-time analytics engine complements this by providing granular viewer data available via a white-label, embeddable dashboard.

“Integration with Flumotion is tight”, Nowak said. “It’s not just about dropping in a video player; we’re embedded across the user experience and the backend, with unified reporting and support. Our collaboration reduces friction across every stage of the deployment”.

Additionally, the integrated solution includes native support for System73, a software-based network optimization technology that aims to enhance edge delivery without requiring additional infrastructure. This integration brings immediate benefits: up to 30% reduction in CDN costs, improved playback stability, faster startup times, and scalable performance across regions. System73 functionality will be active from the first commercial deployments, offering measurable performance and cost improvements from day one.
