(L-R): Dan Miodownik and Luc-Antoine Charial
Global sports marketing and commercialization company Relevent has announced the launch of Relevent Media Services, its new sports broadcast and content production division. The company has appointed Dan Miodownik and Luc-Antoine Charial to lead the new unit, as it has claimed in a statement.
Both executives previously held leadership positions at Host Broadcast Services (HBS), where Miodownik served as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Charial as Chief Operating Officer (cOO). In their new roles, they will lead the development of Relevent’s broadcast and content production capabilities, focusing on innovation and adapting to changes in the sports media landscape and audience consumption habits.
The initiative aims to provide an integrated offering spanning rights, sponsorship, events, content and production.
The two executives bring decades of experience producing major sporting events worldwide, including the last eight FIFA World Cups. Their track records are expected to bring Relevent Media Services industry relationships, technical expertise and operational experience.
“By pairing our existing commercial and media expertise with the in-house production capabilities of Relevent Media Services, we’re now positioned to support partners from the moment rights are secured through to the final broadcast”, the company states.
