Media Links, manufacturer of Media over IP transport technology, has announced that one of China’s largest network operators has purchased its MD8000 Media over IP Transport platform for use in multiple sites across China’s nationwide broadcast network.

This network operator will be able to enhance its content delivery over IP services to their important national media customers in China. The MD8000 solution will allow the network operator to optimize its infrastructure and deploy more video, audio and data services across its network. The MD8000 is purposely designed for use in IP media-centric networks.
