Custom Consoles will highlight major enhancements to its heavy-duty M-Desk Technical HA height-adjustable workstation on stand J26 at The Media Production & Technology Show (Olympia London, May 15-16).

As indicated by the firm, new features include heavy-duty CDF construction, metal-clad vertical supports, LED lighting on the front and sides as well as in the foot compartment, cable trays on the desk that feed cable ports on the work surface, plus five power outlets on the bottom for desktop equipment.

“First introduced in Q3 2022, the M-Desk Technical HA allowed media professionals to adjust the height of the desk to their personal preferences,” says Neil Reed, Managing Director of Custom Consoles. “They also gained the ability to quickly switch between sitting and standing work modes, which offers globally recognized advantages in terms of posture-related ergonomics. The height-adjustable version proved to be a very successful addition to our product range, both in broadcast and security.”

MDesk-Technical HA is a workstation with an electrically motorized desk that can be adjusted in height from 66 to 125 cm above floor level. The latest version of M-Desk Technical HA is an optimization of the original and offers different options. According to the manufacturer’s specifications, retained features include massive 400 kg total lift capacity, optional personal or PC storage and 19-inch freestanding desktop pods.

“We will also be showcasing a console from our successful Module-R series that allows project-specific control desks to be created affordably and quickly from standard elements in virtually any desired configuration,” adds Gary Fuller, sales manager. “The version on display will be a Module-R Lite variant designed for use in state-of-the-art IT-based studios or where space is limited.”

According to information released by the company, Custom Consoles Module-R is a combinable control room furniture system that allows attractive and robust broadcast control furniture to be created in a project-specific manner from a variety of high-quality pods, base sections, 19-inch rack housings, work surfaces, end panel modules and legs.
