Fox Corporation has announced a new collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS), naming AWS as its preferred AI Cloud provider. The partnership aims to mark a significant step forward in FOX’s commitment to innovation, operational efficiency and next-generation media experiences, as it has claimed in a statement.
FOX is deepening its collaboration with AWS to try to power the FOX One direct-to-consumer platform, combining AWS Elemental MediaLive, MediaPackage, and MediaTailor with AWS AI/ML services, including AWS Elemental Inference.
Together, these technologies are designed with the intention of enabling scalable live and on-demand streaming while supporting AI-driven innovations such as content enrichment, highlight generation, and personalized discovery across FOX’s news, sports, and entertainment portfolio.
“Partnering with AWS as our preferred AI Cloud provider allows us to accelerate innovation across every part of our business”, affirms Jeff Dow, EVP, Platform and Media Technology, Fox Corporation. “From enhancing how we deliver content on FOX One to streamlining our media supply chain, AWS provides the scale, reliability and cutting-edge AI capabilities we need to continue redefining the future of media”.
“AWS is proud to expand our relationship with FOX at such a pivotal moment in the media and entertainment industry”, adds Samira Panah Bakhtiar, General Manager, Media & Entertainment, Games and Sports, AWS. “By combining FOX’s coveted content and reach with AWS’s cloud and generative AI capabilities, we’re enabling new ways to create, deliver and monetize content at scale”.
