The European-Latin American AV Summit, supported by the Generalitat de Catalunya and the Barcelona City Council, will be held on January 30-31, 2024 and will consist of a two-day event focusing on audiovisual collaboration between Europe and Latin America

High-tech developments in Europe and Latin America are paving the way for collaboration and commercial exchange between the two regions, opening up new spaces for joint innovation. Therefore, Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) will explore this new avenue of collaboration with a new summit to be held on January 30-31, 2024, which will be supported by ACCIO-Catalonia Trade & Investment and whose main objective is to bring together government representatives, opinion leaders and industry giants to foster understanding, strengthen connections and promote innovation between the two continents.

The cast of speakers at the European / Latin American AV Summit (ELAS) 2024 includes Martin Saul, CEO of ICAP Global and Chairman of the Board of Avixa; Paco Guzman of Meta AI; Federico Bausone, Executive Director of Crestron Latin America; Christina De Bono, Founder and President of SAVe Sustainability; and Sean Wargo, Vice President of Market Intelligence at Avixa, along with senior government representatives from Latin America and the European Union.

ELAS 2024 session topics will include an overview of the AV market and AV industry trends in Latin America and the rest of the world; the EU-LAC (European Union, Latin America and the Caribbean) Foundation and its projects; and the Global Gateway Investment Agenda (GGIA). Attendees will learn about cross-country initiatives, the use and regulation of Artificial Intelligence as a development opportunity, and how talent development can boost the competitiveness of the audiovisual sector. Topics such as sustainability and industry innovations will also be on the agenda. The summit will be held in English, but the KUDO platform offers a translation service in the preferred language.

ELAS 2024 will be a vital platform for networking, knowledge sharing and the development of new business opportunities between Europe and Latin America in the audiovisual and digital sectors.
