Upgrade offers centralized live data repository, new visualization options, and intuitive AI trims

Vizrt, a company specializing in real-time graphics and live production, announces the release of Viz Libero 8.2., an update to its sports analytics tool, which offers data visualization tools in addition to the introduction of Datacenter.

Vizrt Datacenter makes it easy for operators to connect chart template fields to live data sources without any scripting, custom coding or special knowledge. In addition, operators can connect incoming real-time data fields into scenes such as clock and score charts, as well as heat maps.

All data will be contained in a single repository and the data can be accessed in a single central Viz Libero project.

Data visualization

In addition, the most recent update to Vizrt’s data measurement tool offers eight new native data visualization options, including penalty maps, attack maps, and comparative player and team statistics.

Transparent AR

The transparent AR feature removes the playing field when switching to AR mode, presenting only the pitch or grid of the field. All Viz Libero graphics can be presented as Augmented Reality or Transparent AR.

AI Cutout

Launched in Viz Libero 8.1 for basketball and soccer, AI Cutout has been extended in this version for any sport. This tool intelligently recognizes and masks players to generate player cutouts in record time.
